If you’ve got a mouthwatering hankering for real Italian homemade food like your imaginary Roman mamma used to make, then Trattoria der Pallaro is your kind of place. The house motto is "qui se mangia quello che passa la casa" or “here you will eat what we want to feed you”.
This small family run restaurant has no menu, instead matriarch Signora Paola Fazi and her family serve up a five course parade of whatever is available in the kitchen to a bright and basic wood-panelled dining room. The food is fresh, authentic typical Roman fare that just keeps coming.
