Vaishnav Chaat Bhandar has inspired many a chaat wala in this market popular with Delhi University students and North Delhi residents with the sheer number of people who have waited patiently outside their different corners, some for gol gappe, others for aloo tikki and yet another queuing up for kulfi falooda. Much before Bittu Tikki Waala happened to Kamla Nagar, there was Vaishnav Chaat Bhandar and sure enough, the loyal list of customers that this very old shop enjoys has ensured that competition is miles away. Gol gappas, aloo tikki and kulfi are highly recommended. The shop is closed on Mondays, otherwise you could swing by the shop right from 10 am to 8 pm for a bite or two. The best way to reach the shop is to take the Bungalow road entrance to the small roundabout (leave the entrance through the main radial heading towards the multi-storeyed parking lot), the shop is to your right after you cross the block that houses Narula Tent house.
