For thousands of office-goers in Bandra Kurla Complex, the concept of a good lunch meant driving across to Bandra (west) to one of the chic restaurants or heavy buffets near Pali market. Not anymore: Yauatcha, a Michelin-star fine-dining Asian restaurant attracts a legion of regulars which swears by the restaurant's Chinese mains, freshly-prepared desserts and alluring ambiaece. The in-house superstars are the steamed, baked and fried dimsums. Whether you go for the crisp, baked, honey-glazed chicken puffs or the delicately-wrapped ‘vegetable crystal dumpling,’ you can be pretty certain that you're in for a lip-smacking treat. Amongst the desserts the ‘Blood Orange Cake’ and ‘Jasmine tea cake’ are the most popular. Remember to take home a portion of the delectable macaroons which are prepared in a traditional style. If you’re visiting on a hot summer day, cool off with one of the refreshing coolers available in a range of flavours including orange, chilli, kiwi lime etc. Do note that reserving a table is almost mandatory given the restaurant’s popularity and it’s safe to do so a couple of hours before you arrive.Refrain from posting comments that are obscene, defamatory or inflammatory, and do not indulge in personal attacks, name calling or inciting hatred against any community.
