Like the Shiv Niwas Palace hotel, the Fateh Prakash Palace hotel is also a part of the City Palace complex and was originally built by Maharana Fateh Singh in the early 20th century to host royal functions. As expected, its interiors are steeped in history, with miniature paintings, royal armour and furniture embellishing its 35 rooms and suites, halls and stairways. The magnificent Durbar Hall and Crystal Gallery are important attractions in themselves.
