Hotel Pandim is where the action is since it falls bang in the middle of the main market of Gangtok, making for a great stay if the local way of living is what interests you. The decor of this hotel is inherently Sikkimese, complete with traditional bamboo furniture and paintings. This hotel has three categories of rooms, most having balconies that overlook mountains, and a dormitory that is perfect for backpackers. Free wi-fi and other basic amenities are available in all the rooms. You can also consult the reception at Hotel Pandim for planning trips and renting of bikes and cars.
