Sweden’s enchanting landscape has compelled plenty of travellers around the world to add it to their bucket list. People who want to go there, treat the destination no less than a dream destination, while those who have already been there, yearn to revisit it. And among the biggest tourist attractions of Sweden is its Lapland, which is famous for its stunning snow-laden landscape during the winters and unparalleled views of the Northern Lights. Besides, there are lakes, rivers and forests to make the place even more enchanting. But, what if we told you that the place is soon going to be home to a floating hotel?
Talking about what would be inside this offbeat hotel in Sweden, there will be six minimalistic cabins made out of timber logs that are capable of either floating or even standing still during the summers, when the snow melts and the river water appears again. While these timber logs are meant to provide natural insulation to the guests, each of these cabins will also have a wooden furnace, and a skylight which would provide guests the opportunity to stargaze or even enjoy views of the Northern Lights.
The hotel will also be home to an open-air central bath along with steam bath, sauna and spa, thus ensuring a complete travel experience of the destination to travellers staying in this place.
Scheduled to open its doors to guests in early 2018, this hotel will offer accommodation to a couple at an approximate cost of 43,500 INR.
