The Dream Nest in Alleppey is a budget stay facility. Built on the lines of a homestay, it offers a range of clean, spacious rooms with attached washrooms. All the rooms have king-sized beds and comfortable bedding; mosquito nets are also provided in all the rooms. Run by Saiju and Jason who belong to the area, the hotel has a common lounge and garden to hang around in, in the evenings. The management also arranges backwater tours at unbelievably low prices, wherein they will also take you around the surrounding villages for local food! Add to it free wi-fi and its proximity to some of the best restaurants and markets. The only flip side of the hotel is that its in-house kitchen is not functional during off-season and you would have to step out for meals.
