However, the star of the restaurant is the menu and makes up more than adequately for what is otherwise lacking in style and design. An absolute delight for connoisseurs of food, you can choose from multiple options. The mushroom ragout on crisp (moistly sautéed mushrooms dipped in cheesy sauce on crispies) is absolutely lip-smacking. Dishes like prawn cocktail (perfectly poached prawns on shards of cabbage seasoned with mayonnaise) and pigs in blanket (sausages wrapped in crispy bacon), are classic when it comes to taste.
In the main course, pork chops with Robert sauce and roast chicken forester with rosemary—both sautéed with rounds of carrot, wedges of potatoes and glossy peas tossed lightly are a delight. However, the pork chops could have been a little juicier. The freshness of the paella and the grilled fish deserve kudos. The caramel custard in the dessert section is too tempting to resist.
