OK, so it's a strip club. But wait - it's not like any strip club you've ever heard of. Oddball entertainment for Atlanta's seedy elite since 1965
Noteworthy for: The famous stripper Blondie, a woman neither young nor slender who crushes beer cans between her...assets.
With its kitschy and nostalgic reputation, the Clermont Lounge draws people old and young, highbrow and homeless, as well as visiting celebrities. The space is small and dank, and you'll be glad they don't serve food or draught beer. Tuesday nights there's karaoke starting at 10.30pm, and Saturday nights there's a DJ (other nights the dancers pick their own erratic tunes).
