Tipple of choice: Many Dublin bars claim to pull the perfect pint of Guinness, but Kehoe's is a serious contender.

Noteworthy for: If you get here early and are lucky enough to nab one of the private booths, feel smug: you're in one of the most cherished drinking spots in Dublin.
Despite its Grafton Street location, and being a well established stop on pub crawls, Kehoe's remains delightfully unspoilt. The downstairs space used to be a grocery store; take note of the original serving hatch, old fashioned cash register and buzzer used by shoppers waiting for their provisions.

The characterful upstairs bar was once the residence of original landlord John Kehoe. Now, both are mobbed by locals and visitors alike, but the atmosphere is so good-natured, and the beer so good, you won't mind the crush.
