In praise of clubbing
Word to the wise: Dress to impress to get past the doormen.

Noteworthy for: The club's magnificent architecture makes it a unique place to party.
This former place of worship is now a temple to nightlife. From the outside, it looks like a regular church. Step inside and it still looks like a church – sumptuous wood panelling, towering marble columns and enormous chandeliers – with the addition of a backlit bar and dance floor and a DJ where the organ used to be.

The DJs at this weekend-only venue spin a mix of crowd-pleasing music – check the website for themed party nights and special events. While it’s not the cheapest place to spend the evening, it’s worth a visit for the opulent surroundings.
