Sometimes, specially on a rainy day you just need to throw your hands in the air and go to the pub. Trick Dog is a fun and inventive bar that is sure to keep you warm and help you forget about the day at the beach you may have had planned.Trick Dog is one of the most inventive, exciting, buzzed-about cocktails bars in America right now. This crazy bar in a converted warehouse space updates their concept cocktail menu bi-annually with delicious and tropical cocktails.
The menu changes twice a year, and when it does it is big news. Early 2016 saw a cocktail list based around real-world conspiracy theories. Before that there was a dog-themed menu. In the lead up to the US presidential election, the menu was been revamped with a politics/election theme. We tried the ‘Hope’ (Evan WIlliams Bonded Bourbon, Luxardo Sangue Moriacco, pineapple, lemon, Anchor Liberty ale) and the ‘Morning in America’ (Absolut vodka, Tempus Fugit Kina L’Avion d’Or, grapefruit, vanilla, marjoram, lime). You wish other bars tried this hard. There are no reservations and the place can get jammed, so go early.
