Make your exit from Hauz Khas Village before the cacophony of honking cars and throngs of partygoers inundate its narrow lanes. The next stop for the night – Blue Frog – is pretty much an institution in the city. Even though Mumbaikers will often compare it unfavourably with its Mumbai counterpart, this is the place for the best live gigs in the city. Designed to facilitate excellent acoustics, the venue consists of a futuristically designed club in the basement, an open courtyard called the Qila, and even a rooftop terrace. To really get into the groove of things head straight for the basement.
