While Eslite is a Taiwanese chain of bookstores, each shop has an ample selection of books in English, Chinese, and Japanese. From children's books to New York Times' best-sellers, Eslite has them all, and if they don't, they will order them for you. It also has the largest selection of magazines from around the world and sells back issues for a fraction of their price.

The Dunhua location also has an extensive music/DVD shop, a large children's shop with books, games, and toys, and a stationary shop with cards, gift wrap, stationary and gifts in the basement. The cafe on the second floor is open 24 hours and serves good mid-read munchies.
