This sanctuary in Bihar’s Bhagalpur is a haven for the lovers of wildlife. It is home to Gangetic Dolphins (Susu in regional language), an endangered species. The sanctuary is spread over 50 km, and is a protected area as well. October to June is an ideal time to visit the sanctuary and get wonderstruck with the swarms of dolphins here.
