Just north of Brisbane in Australia is the Sunshine Coast, spanning a distance of over 210 km and a spread of over 4000 sq km. The Sunshine Coast is often ignored in the face of its more glamorous cousin, Gold Coast, yet, truth be told, the Sunshine Coast is more down to earth and hence provides a much more authentic Aussie experience. It is packed with a string of beautiful beaches, surfing havens, an incredibly diverse hinterland and picturesque mountains.
