Rotary Park is by far one of the most fun places to play on hot summer days around Edmonton and is suitable for all ages. This park has a huge playground for kids, a large pond to fish in, a snack concession, a lot of trails for hiking or rollerblading and, the best of all, the River Slides. It is important to note that you must bring your own inner tube or flotation device as they are not available on rent. The river slides are actually two man-made creeks specifically for sliding. They are outfitted with a series of pools and drops perfect for tubing. At the end of each is a shallow pool perfect for splashing in. There is also a beach at the end of each, so make sure to bring your sand toys. In addition to the slides, there is another water area, a splash pad that the kids will love running around. Many water elements are here to add to your fun like spray guns, tipping buckets and more. We suggest going for a picnic and spending the entire day here. Did we mention it’s completely free as well!Refrain from posting comments that are obscene, defamatory or inflammatory, and do not indulge in personal attacks, name calling or inciting hatred against any community.
