Travel is more about experiences than just sights and sounds, and in Indonesia, an archipelago of islands, every place has its own charm. From local lore to adventure travel, from wildlife to scuba diving, from rustic villages to bright markets, from traditional performances to legends, there is an array of things to do in Indonesia for every traveller, be it a beach bum, culture enthusiast, foodie or an adventurer. While holidaying here, I went on a volcano trail, snorkelled in the ocean, sighted wildlife, dabbled in silver jewellery, went on a temple tour, watched performances as well as volunteered and explored the rustic side of the country.
