The horizon and the blue sea is always an enthralling frame that one can stare for long in oblivion. How about a ride into that horizon with the salty blue waters splashing all over? A boat ride might not give that experience, but a catamaran ride definitely will. A ride on a catamaran is not something that you chance upon during every beach visit. In Gokarna, the fishermen on Om Beach or Kudle Beach would eagerly take tourists on a catamaran ride post fishing. A ride early in the morning or evening is ideal, as it is best advised to avoid the hot sun. All you have is a few log woods to cling on and the expansive sea opens itself with the never ending horizon looming ahead. A sudden unexpected spurt of the waters would get your senses back and refreshed. A couple of beaches in Gokarna are accessible only by trek or by catamaran/boat. A catamaran ride from one beach to another is as exciting as a beach trek. Beach hopping cannot get any better. Make sure to bargain well before heading to the Arabian Sea.
