The vibrant city of Winnipeg attracts people from all over the country and the world, and for many of them they come to attend one of the awesome annual festivals that take place year after year. Even during the dark days of winter, locals and visitors bundle up to face the cold to hear live music at the Big Fun Festival, devoted to getting people out of their houses during winter time. Others come for the electronic dance and multi-media festival that has put Winnipeg on the map for it’s fun late night parties and free outdoor concerts. Families will enjoy the International Children’s Festival where kids can dig for fossils, create art, bounce in the castles and enjoy a fun filled day. There is plenty of laughs to be had at the Comedy Festival, plenty of screams on the rides at the exhibition and plenty of art to enjoy at Nuit Blanche. Whatever kind of festival you are looking for, find it here in the city of Winnipeg.
