Volunteering in Leh and Ladakh

Volunteering is, perhaps, the most perfect form of travelling with a purpose. If you wish to lend a helping hand to the locals while on a trip to Leh-Ladakh, volunteering might just be the thing you are looking for. With a month or more to spare, there is a lot that you can volunteer for in this area. The range of activities vary from teaching languages (mainly English), photography, sports (ice-skating, hockey) and basic computer skills, to helping out in building classrooms and libraries, nature and wildlife conservation projects, teachers’ training and more.
