Delhi Tourism to celebrate 31st Garden Tourism Festival from 16th February

“If winter comes can spring be far behind,” the famous quote by PB Shelley, fits well for the upcoming Garden Tourism Festival 2018, as spring flowers are all set to bloom and to allure the nature lovers through their grand flower show, the organisation will bring the message to the society regarding nature and its preservation.

The three-day event has been taking place for almost three decades now. This year to charm visitors, the festival will began from 16th February and they have themed the festival on ‘Skills in Gardening.’
The initiative is taken to create awareness amongst the people, regarding the environment and how each one of us can contribute to preserving it through a little step.
Gardening is one of the efficacious ways to stay in touch with nature, and to cherish the sprawling beauty of gardens and blooming flowers, various government civic agencies, as well as private organisations, have planned to set up numerous theme-based gardens, floral displays, Horticulture demonstrations, and various potted plants, flowers and bonsai at the festival area.


The festival will also see the participation of leading nurseries, horticulture, and floriculture societies. Also in attendance would be suppliers of horticulture equipments, fertilisers, and seeds.
During the festival, there will be cultural programmes and food stalls will be installed to keep alive the festive spirit, and to entertain the visitors and children.
