Have you ever heard of virtual wine tasting? Well, it is now possible during the eccentric times we are living in, thanks to COVID-19, and worldwide lockdowns. In places such as California, where the winery tasting rooms have been shut temporarily, there is a disconnect between wine lovers and their favourite bottles. But that can change if you want. As winemakers in California are now reaching out to everyone through seminars, live tastings, and even cooking classes, all on the web. In fact, there are about 80 virtual wine experiences offered by Discover California Wines.
Not just California, other places are also hosting such wine events online. It is a great way to stay in touch with your favourite drinks, and to understand them at greater length. Many winners in New South Wales also took to virtual wine tasting. Herein, the consumers could pre-order drinks and enjoy them alongside the online experience.
Edinburgh too has virtual wine tasting now as a local wine bar and shop has now launched the same. The Bacco Wine Bar in Edinburgh has introduced this so as to continue to stay in touch with their local customers, and also to try and earn a little during these trying times. The tasting features six wines that will be delivered to your doorstep before the event. On event day, you can have an enjoyable experience similar to a real wine visit.
