RK Khanna Stadium

For tennis lovers, the RK Khanna Stadium is not a new name. The erstwhile venue of the Delhi Lawn Tennis Association that has been serving the cause of tennis since 1970 was given a facelift and rechristened R.K. Khanna Complex, after Raj Kumar Khanna, a former president of the All India Tennis Association.

The stadium has been hosting AITA matches in Delhi, it was the venue for tennis events during the 1982 Asian Games and for the 2010 Commonwealth Games. It is also the venue for India’s Fed Cup, Davis Cup and India Open matches.
The complex has a centre court, six match courts and six warm up courts. It has a capacity of 5015 spectators. It is located near Green Park, enroute to R.K. Puram, hence surrounding by a green belt on three sides.
