There are several lakes in Whistler―Alpha Lake, Alta Lake, Nita Lake, Green Lake and my favourite―the Lost Lake. If you like to bike then rent a cycle here to explore the lake or like me, go on a little hike. It is almost like a dense forest out there and sometimes all that you can hear is the rustle of leaves. The lake with its quiet sandy beach is a perfect place to lose yourself. No wonder it was once a nudist sunbathing area. The area around the lake, called the Lost Lake Park has over 30 km of cross country trails and in winter, this place is the most sought for those who want to ski here with the two mountains for company. Besides night skiing, there are even classes offered for beginners here.
