Located on the east bank of Huangpu River, Lujiazui has been developed as a new financial hub in Pudong district of Shanghai. The area is home to countless high-end restaurants and hotels. With the presence of around 100 high-rise buildings and skyscrapers, it has earned a nickname of 'Wall Street of China'. Many landmark buildings of Shanghai are located in Lujiazui including Oriental Pearl Tower, Jin Mao Building, Shanghai World Financial Center, Super Brand Mall, Aurora Plaza, Shanghai IFC, Bank of China Tower and Shanghai Tower. The best way to access Lujiazui is by ferry from the Bund, which gives an opportunity to admire the stunning skyline of the district from the water front. Get onto an elevator to admire the bird’s eye view from an observatory at Orient Pearl Tower or Shanghai World Financial Center. Or you can hang out at the Lujiazui Central Green Space to enjoy the outdoors amid the hustle and bustle of the urban centre. The Binjiang Avenue runs by the eastern shore of the Huangpu River. Grab a beer at one of the riverfront restaurant and stare at the Bund; this is the best way to unwind after a long day of sightseeing!
