Be transported back in time with this walk high above Stockholm
This stunning route, named after a city curator and architect, is an ideal way to get a birds-eye view of the city and to experience some of its 18th and 19th century history.
Finding the start is a bit tricky, but you'll see the view as you get closer. Get off the subway at Mariatorget and walk west on Hornsgatan until you reach Torkel Knutssonsgatan. Make a right and look for Bastugatan, which kicks slightly off to the right. Meander down Bastugatan until you see a daycare on the left; Monteliusvägen is just past it along the cliff edge.
