IRCTC, in a step to make things more comfortable and convenient for passengers, has decided to make reservation charts public very soon. With this development, passengers will be able to check reservation charts via the official website or app of Indian Railways. Not only this, they’ll also get access to all the information about any vacant berths available on the train after the chart is prepared.
The minister had directed the railway official to make the chart public so that there still is the possibility of booking tickets at the end moment if there are unreserved seats available. According to the official reports, common people would be able to access the reservation chart through IRCTC official website. This will also enable passengers to get information about vacant berths even after the chart is prepared.
So now, there won’t be any more running after TTEs to get a seat on the train.
