Book yourself a tour at Tea Nest or the High Field Tea Factory . Closer to Ooty, the Dodabetta Tea Factory guides visitors through the various stages of the tea-making process in the factory, from withering and rolling, to drying and sifting. There is also a tea shop at the end, which offers local varieties of tea, spices and oil, as well as souvenirs.
