This ceremony takes place every morning at 11:30 in the summer, and on alternate days the rest of the year. Lasting all of 45 minutes and accompanied by a classical music band, this is the best way to soak in the splendour of the British monarchy. For those who really want to sink their teeth into it, watch the DVD review of the ceremony beforehand—produced by the Guards Museum (located just off the side of St. James's Park) it is an explanatory account and will help you make a lot more sense of what’s going on.

Yes I went to london from Mumbai (India) and stayed at YMCA Indian Hostel at 41 Fitzroy Square, London, UK W1T 6AQ, United Kingdom 44 20 7387 0411. It is nice to stay. Rates are inclusive of break fast and Dinner. Lunches are also available subject to extra payment. Arrangements in the hostel are good enough. Location wise also good. Though there is no direct tube rail connection fro Heathrow A/port, but, still it is easily accessible after changing of tube train. Nearest tube railway station is Warren street. One can very well reach to all destinations from here. My advise is that use combine train-bus ticket to get the best. One must take the advantage of hoff-on tourist bus service. Certain entry fees are included in that bus ticket rates. Great Oxford street is not far off. For shopping go to any Marks and spencers for best quality items. Take chocholates from shop at Oxford street. One should remember that it is hostel and not hotel.Read More
