Great jazz and fine wine for a grown-up night out
Word to the wise: It’s hardly draconian, but the club does have a fairly strict dress code - so don’t turn up in a t-shirt, torn jeans and sneakers.

A magnificent Victorian property once owned by the Scottish BBC, The Jam House is one of Edinburgh’s premier jazz club. Owned by the renowned musician and television presenter Jools Holland, the adult crowd here enjoys an upbeat mix of live jazz, blues, boogie-woogie and swing in a large but intimate venue with a convivial atmosphere.
While you'll find some treats in the music programme, the food has gone downhill of late, so it's best to eat elsewhere and come here for the good tunes instead.
