Once you are in Dharamshala, you can opt to try paragliding. For this, you will have to go till Bir Billing, which is merely 65 km from Dharamshala. Explore Kangra Fort
You just cannot miss visiting the Kangra fort while visiting Dharamshala, which was built by the Rajput family of Kangra. Located near the Bhagsu Nag Temple, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva, this place surely makes for an interesting visit. For your information, the waterfall is 30 ft drop, and is nestled between the crevices of two mountains. One will need to undergo a 20 min hike, to witness this majestic sight.
Visit tea gardens
Yes, when in Dharamshala, you can actually visit the tea plantations on the Dharamsala-McLeod Ganj road. Although they are not as big as the plantations in other Northeastern states, the beautiful plantations are vast enough to keep you hooked for a couple of hours. Plus, the aromatic mist of tea creates an ambience that you might not want to come back soon.
