Whenever I close my eyes to think about the most beautiful town I have visited in Europe so far, the multihued sights of Bergen begin to flash in my mind. Bergen is a port town and a fjord area as well whose beauty is almost indescribable in words. It’s close to nature and vibrant at the same time. A small fairytale town which can be explored on foot is going to enchant you with its natural beauty, architecture and the people. If you think you are running short on time, then rent a Segway or a bicycle. The topography of Bergen is attention-grabbing. Seven hills and seven fjords surround the city making it a perfect picturesque Norwegian landscape. Being a wharf town, it’s stunning in the night. The reflection of buildings in the water, lighted up houses sitting on the mountains and the dark blue sky above the head is utterly captivating.
