The largest Ferris wheel in the city of Osaka, standing at a staggering height of 112 m, the Tempozan Ferris Wheel is located right next to the Osaka Aquarium and marketplace. With as many as 68 passenger cars that can hold a maximum of 500 people, this ride is a little less than 20 minutes long, and provides some fantastic views of the bay along with Mount Rokko. Opened sometime in 1997, Tempozan used to be the tallest Ferris wheel in the world until the likes of the London Eye, and the Singapore Flyer took over. If you wish to fly like a bird and soak in some breath-taking views of a dazzling city, oblivious to the workings of the world, the Tempozan Ferris Wheel will welcome you with open arms.
