Zorbing is one of the most enjoyable adventure activities there are, and requires very little courage and absolutely no skill. One of the newest adventure activities to have captured the interest of adventure lovers, zorbing was first introduced in New Zealand in the mid-nineties, and travelled to India only recently (Bangalore is one of the few places in the country where you can partake of it). Essentially, it entails clambering into a huge, transparent plastic ball, and rolling down a gentle slope with you harnessed within (in some cases you’re left to be tossed around on the inside)—it’s probably the closest you’ll ever come to sitting inside a bubble. Variants of the sport include water zorbing (where you bob along the surface of water ensconced inside a plastic ball), which requires a large water body, and is also a lot of fun.
