With the sun beating down, a loud, happy crowd down in the bleachers and everyone waiting for the first thwack of leather on wood, it's hard to beat the atmosphere of Wrigley Field game days. Still feeling like a throwback to the 1950s, the park is home to "lovable losers" the Chicago Cubs, hugely popular despite failing to win the World Series 103 years running.

For die-hard baseball nerds, it's possible to tour the Field when there's no game on, but game days are the real draw here, made even more iconic by the downtown Chicago skyline looming in the distance.
