"We are pleased to announce that Disneyland Paris will reopen on June 17," the park said in aN official statement. The park earlier was hoping to start welcoming visitors in February. It then again released a date of April 2 as its new target but it also got cancelled due to a spike in COVID cases.
But now the park is all set to reopen. On Monday, the theme park said that guests more than six years old will still be required to wear face masks. Admission to the park would be limited, and people will have to book their tickets in advance as reservations are mandatory.
However, some attractions in Disneyland could be shut or modified as per COVID rules. A Disneyland source said that management is expecting a return to pre-pandemic levels of activity only in 2022.
