Illikkal Kallu Road: All roads that lead to Illikkal Kallu, which is one of the major tourist places can now be accessed without any hassle.
Erattupetta-Theekoy-Adukkam-Illikkal Kallu: 20 kms from Erattupetta, this road is also now thoroughly navigable.
Erattupetta-Vagamon Road: This is another most sought-after route, through which a number of travellers from different parts of the state opt to reach Vagamon.

This road also serves as the major access route to Theekoy and Thalanadu Panchayats, which can also be used to reach Kurishumala in Vagamon, which is a prominent pilgrimage centre.
From Vagamon, travellers can now easily reach Kattappana and Kuttikkanam route via Elappara. Upon entering the National Highway at Kuttikkanam, travellers will now be able to proceed to other major destinations, including Thekkady, Thodupuzha from Vagamon to Moolamattom.
Other important routes include Kanjiram Kavala – Melukavu – Nellappara – Illikkal Kallu, which will open access to Illikkal Kallu from Kanjiram Kaval along the Erattupetta – Thodupuzha road.
Erattupetta – Thalanad – Kalakkood Illakkal Kallu route which will provides access to the bottom of the Illikkal Kallu peak and, by taking this route, you will get to reach the key viewpoint of the destination by road, apart from several stunning viewpoints.
