Escape summers: IRCTC offers 6-day Jannat-e-Kashmir tour package

If you have been keen to enjoy a visit to Kashmir, Indian Railways has come up with a great deal. It is now offering a Kashmir Tour Package to help you to escape the heat of the plains. The IRCTC has come up with a lucrative 6-day Kashmir tour package that covers all travel costs, including meals, lodging, and airfare.

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is a division of Indian Railways that is launching this Kashmir trip package, by the name Jannat-e-Kashmir, which will commence its journey from April 9.

Your round-trip economy flight tickets will be covered, and you will enjoy four nights stay in a hotel, along with a one night booking in a houseboat in Srinagar. Also, all the sightseeing will take place in a non-AC vehicle as per the itinerary.

Places that this package covers are Sonmarg, Gulmarg, Pahalgam, Dal Lake, and various other scenic locations.

IRCTC Kashmir tour package: Ticket prices
The cost for the Kashmir tour package depends on the type of occupancy you opt for, starting from INR 41,300 onwards and going up till INR 61,000. A single-person ticket costs around INR 60,100, whereas the cost of two people travelling together will come down to INR 44,900 per person. If three people are travelling together, the cost will further come down to INR 44,000 per person.

Do note that the ticket price for children without a bed is INR 41,300.
