Reports add that this enriching train journey is scheduled to commence on June 7, which will be for a duration of 17 nights and 18 days, offering participants the opportunity to visit 14 significant cities across the country and explore 39 revered places of worship associated with Lord Rama and his epic saga.

The journey will start from the Safdarjung Railway Station in Delhi, and take passengers through cities such as Ayodhya, Buxar, Nandigram, Sitamarhi, Janakpur, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Shringverpur, Chitrakoot, Hampi, Nasik, Rameshwaram, Bhadrachalam, and Kanchipuram. To ensure convenience for passengers, the Shri Ramayana Yatra train will offer multiple boarding and alighting options at various stations along its route, including Ghaziabad, Aligarh, Tundla, Etawah, Lucknow, Kanpur, Jhansi, Gwalior, Mathura, Agra Cantt, and Safadarjung.
Ayodhya – Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, Sarayu Ghat, and Hanuman Garhi.
Nandigram – Bharatkund and Bharat-Hanuman Temple.
Janakpur – Ram Janaki Temple, Parshuram Kunda and Dhanush Dham Temple.
Sitamarhi – Punaura Dham and Janaki Temple.
Buxar – Rameshwar Nath Temple and Ramrekha Ghat.
Varanasi – Tulsi Manas Temple, Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Sankat Mochan mandir, and Ganga Aarti.
Sita Samahit Sthal, Sitamarhi – Sita Mata Temple.
Prayagraj – Sri Bharadwaj Ashram, Hanuman Temple and Ganga-Yamuna Sangam.
Shringverpur – Shringi Rishi Ashram and Shanta Devi Temple and Ramchaura.
Chitrakoot – Sati Anusuya Temple and Gupt Godavari.
Nashik – Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, Shree Kalaram Temple, Panchavati, Sita Gufa.
