More about Malcha Mahal
The incredibly beautiful Malcha Mahal used to be the royal home of descendants of the Nawab of Awadh. But the palace was neglected after the death of the last royal member in 2017. Neither ASI nor the state government took the ownership of the palace. But now, the state government's archaeology department is trying to do the needful. The department is now planning to hire a consultant to carry out the restoration work.
So, to make people aware of the palace and its history, the state government is also planning to develop tourist-friendly activities. Because the plan is in its very initial stage, it’s too early to predict the activities.
