Reportedly, the café has been constructed by Nalagarh’s State Rural Development Department and Truck Operators Union. It will be run by the women self-help groups—Laxmi and Durga. The menu has been kept very traditional, healthy and appealing at the same time. The café will serve makke ki roti, sarson ka saag, makkhan, lassi etc.
A shop named Him Ira had been opened in the building to sell medicinal plants like giloy, peppermint, neem leaf powder, date palm brooms, wheat flour, pulses, spices, vegetables etc. would sold at fair prices. This would also give income to the local rural women of the place.
In addition, the CM also announced that Swachhta Park was being inaugurated at Kufri and planning is being done to open Swachhta Cafes in different areas of the state.
