As per the latest reports, the department has announced a list of government-approved golf resorts that will enable foreign golfers with advance arrangements for golfing in Thailand to undergo a golf quarantine as an alternative option for local state quarantine.
As per the news reports, these six golf resorts approved for golf quarantine in Thailand are Mida Golf Club, Evergreen Hills Golf Club, and Blue Star Golf Course, Artitaya Golf & Resort, Sawang Resort and Golf Club and Artitaya Chiang Mai Golf & Resort.
Referring to this, the Thailand Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) stated that golfers will still require to have all of their advance arrangements in place for arrival and entry, including a visa, which can include a Special Tourist Visa (STV) or Single-Entry Tourist Visa (TR), Certificate of Entry, medical and travel insurance among others.
Further, Thailand announced to relax travel restrictions in December for citizens from 56 countries in a bid to balance the economic and health effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
