Local authorities dispatched officials to investigate the matter and urged park operators to transparently disclose such enhancements to visitors in advance. Meanwhile, the waterfall, through a statement attributed to Chinese officials, acknowledged benefiting from seasonal adjustments without directly referencing the pipes.
