Ostrogski Palace is a beautiful, ornate Baroque building in pastels and mauves with an impressive facade built in the late 17th century and owned by the Ostrogski family. Inside, the rooms have rich stucco frescoes and ornate embellishments. In the mid 20th century, it was turned into a tribute to one of the most gifted classical composers, Frederic Chopin and spans the history and works of his life. Spread over five floors and 15 rooms, the exhibits on display in the museum include original manuscripts of compositions, letters, photographs, documents written by the composer, sculptures and piano recitals.
