Abhishek Veer Sharma celebrates birthday with family in Siliguri
Television actor Abhishek Veer Sharma, who will soon be seen playing the male lead in the upcoming serial Mou Er Bari along with Adrija Roy, is celebrating his birthday today along with his family in hometown Siliguri. He told us, “I have been celebrating with my family the entire day and will travel back to Kolkata at night. I have to go back and start shooting tomorrow as the launch of our serial is round the corner.
So, I will be directly reaching my shooting set once I reach Kolkata. I also took the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine yesterday and I am quite sick but still there is no chance for me to take rest. I have to be present at the shooting floor tomorrow. Last night, I cut a cake and also received many gifts – chocolates, flowers and a few birthday cakes. But one of the most special gifts is a handwritten note with a beautiful song that has come with no name on it. It’s really very special but I wish I could know his/her name. I would have thanked the person personally. I am so happy to get so many wishes from here as well as from other countries. It’s very overwhelming. My parents have even arranged for a small party at our place.”
Abhishek had debuted in the Bengali film industry last December with the serial Saraswatir Prem. Being a non-Bengali, he worked hard to correct his dictation, pronunciation and improve his command over the language. He is even learning to read and write Bengali.
We even asked Abhishek about his birthday resolution for this year. He replied, “My birthday resolution is to be a better person than I was yesterday. I will work harder to keep entertaining people. That apart, I have a list of wishes noted in a diary that I will share with everyone on social media some day. Right now, I just want blessings and love from everyone on my birthday.”
