Actor Raja Goswami joins the cast of ‘Dhulokona’

Popular Bengali artist Raja Goswami’s career seems to be on the right track. Recently, his television shows ‘Khorkuto’ and ‘Ismart Jodi’ concluded their journey and Raja has bagged yet another project. He has joined the cast of popular Bengali daily soap ‘Dhulokona’. Raja is playing Rishi’s character in the Manali Manisha Dey and Indrasish Roy starrer.Recently, the makers introduced a big twist in the storyline followed by male protagonist Lalan’s mysterious death. And in order to spice up the entertainment quotient furthermore, they have introduced Rishi’s character, who turns out to be baddie Srirupa’s son. Interestingly, Rishi character is completely different from Rupanjan, the role Raja used to play in his previous TV show. The audience can see him in a brand new avatar as Rishi, who is a rebel and doesn’t hesitate to raise his voice against odds. In fact, he revolts against his mom, who is involved in some illegal business, in the name of running a dance troupe.With Rishi’s entry, audience can expect some high-voltage drama as he decides to go against his mom and help one of the victims, who is none other than Chorui.Speaking about Raja, he is one of the most popular faces on Bengali television, who has been a part of many shows. He stepped into showbiz at a young age and teenage romantic-drama ‘Bhalobasa.com’ made him huge popular. He didn’t have to look back, following the success of the show which worked as the launch pad of many young talents, including his wife Madhubani.In Koushik Roy-Trina Saha starrer ‘Khorkuto’, Raja was seen playing Rupanjan’s character, which enjoyed popularity among the audience. The character had comic shades. Raja and Madhubani participated in Jeet hosted couple based reality show ‘Ismart Jodi’ and emerged as the most popular pair based on viewers’ votes.
