Actors Rooqma Ray and Rahul Arunoday Banerjee team up for ‘Laal Kuthi’

Bengali TV’s one of the most popular reel couple Rahul Arunoday Banerjee-Rooqma Ray has teamed up again. The actor will soon be seen as a reel jodi in the upcoming television serial ‘Laal Kuthi’. Rumours were rife that the duo would team up for a new project once again. Rahul and Rooqma, as well as the makers, however, kept it under the wrap until now.
The upcoming show will be a mix of thriller and horror.Rahul and Rooqma will play a happily married couple, who are deeply in love with each other. Rooqma experiences some eerie experiences but fails to find an explanation.
The show will launch in May at a prime time night slot and fans are all excited about it.
Rahul and Rooqma first paired up in ‘Desher Maati’, which was a popular show. Rahul played an idealistic doctor while Rooqma played Mampy’s character, a girl who is ruled by her emotions. The reel pair earned popularity instantly; thanks to their sizzling chemistry. Fans simply loved them as a reel pair. ‘Desher Maati’ had an ensemble cast but Rooqma-Rahul’s chemistry caught the attention of the audience within a brief period and there was no looking back for them. Their fans were all disappointed when the makers announced its conclusion. There are many fan pages still dedicated to them.
Speaking about the upcoming show, ‘Laal Kuthi’, it will have an ensemble cast which includes Prriyam Chakraborty, Sritama Bhattacharjee and others. After a long time, Bengali television will have a fiction show which has a horror flavour.
