. According to reports, the actress was found hanging from her ceiling fan and was rushed to a hospital, where she was declared dead. Her body has been sent for post-mortem and the police are investigating the case. Her co-actors are in a state of shock.
Amit, who directed Pallavi on Thursday, said, "I have no clue as to what happened. It is really sad news."

who played the male lead opposite Pallavi in Ami Sirajer Begam is shocked by the news. “She was a wonderful human being and a nice co-actor. I still can’t believe this happened,” said Sean.
Joyjit Banerjee, who worked with her on Wednesday for Mon Mane Na, said, “Her first serial Resham Jhapi was with me. I was there when she auditioned for the role in the serial. I have seen her over the years and never felt there was anything wrong or that she was going through any problems or depression. She even posted a story 18 hours back on Facebook. I hope the police will do the needful and the truth will come out.”
