Gourab Chatterjee, who is presently playing the character Mathuramohan in the popular period drama ‘Rani Rashmoni’, went absolutely emotional after getting handwritten notes and gifts from his fans. The actor was overwhelmed by the love and unconditional support from his fans. He was surprised when his fans went to meet him in the studio, where the cast and crew of ‘Rani Rashmoni’ were shooting.
The actor took to his social media handle to share his gratitude towards fans and shared that it is more than award to him.

A few months back, a very senior viewer from Howrah sent him a letter praising his acting skills. The actor still cherishes the moment when he got the letter from a person, who is in his 70s. Gourab has kept the letter as one of his loving possessions.
The show ‘Rani Rashmoni’, starring
Ditipriya Roy and Gazi Abdun Noor, is abuzz among the viewers as Rajchandra’s (played by Noor) part is coming to an end. The actor has shot his final scene yesterday (March 17) and today the show aired an hour long special episode featuring Rajchandra’s demise. Along with Noor, Gourab, Ditipriya and other cast and crew members had an emotional moment while shooting for the final scenes.
Gourab, who made his small screen debut with ‘Durga’, has come a long way in the past decade and half. He is widely praised for portraying Mathuramohan in ‘Rani Rashmoni’.
